Connect to Attendees on Slack

Join STC’s Slack Workspace, and first-time attendees will have their own channel that will be less noisy than the main Summit channel. Follow #summit-first-time-attendees and #summit for announcements and updates, plus ask questions and post pictures.

Further Engagement

In addition to education and learning, some of the biggest benefits to attending any conference is the networking, entertainment and fun, and social events. Take advantage of the time you’re around so many like-minded professionals and set a goal for yourself to meet a few new people. Here are some tips:

  • Post about attending the Summit on LinkedIn and follow the Summit account on Twitter or on Slack.
  • Make a list of a few people you would like to meet and write down some questions for them.
  • Visit our industry partners and sponsors! They will be available each day for discussion of their products and services.

Summit Career Connect

Looking for guidance for career-related questions? Interested in providing guidance to a fellow documentarian? Sign up for the Summit Career Connect program! You’ll be matched with a partner who you can then connect with in person during the STC Summit. Participants must sign up by 12 PM on Friday, May 17 and will be matched via email by 8 AM on Saturday, May 18.
