Are you going to the 2013 STC Summit in Atlanta? Do you have a knack for video production? Would you like to win a free registration to the 2014 Summit in Phoenix?
STC is seeking submissions for the second annual Summit Video Contest. Entrants are asked to create a video using footage from this year’s Summit to be used in the promotion of the 2014 STC Conference.
Creativity is encouraged. The theme for this contest is once again “Why I Love the STC Summit!”
There is no cost to enter.
The STC Video Contest ends 30 June 2013. All submissions must be received by this time to be eligible.
Create a video no more than three minutes in length that promotes STC and the STC Summit in accordance with the theme of this contest. Videos that employ the use of copyrighted images, video, or music will be disqualified. All videos should be uploaded to the YouTube account of your choice, and a link should be sent to STC Media Manager Kevin Cuddihy so that they can be added to the official contest page.
Copies of the full-quality original video files must also be emailed to Kevin Cuddihy. Large files can be sent via KickSend or similar services; email Kevin to coordinate. STC retains nonexclusive rights to edit, display, copy, publish, distribute, transmit, and sell digital reproductions of these videos, in whole or in part.
Videos must feature original content created specifically for the 2013 STC Summit Video Contest. Submissions must meet the requirements set forth herein. There is no limit to the number of entries that may be submitted. An Entry is not complete until all parts of the submission process are completed. Proof of sending submission will not serve as proof of receipt by STC.

The contest is open to any STC member who attended the 2013 STC Summit. Footage used in the production of the video must be taken from the 2013Summit and related events. Previous Summit footage is ineligible for use in this contest.
Two categories of winner will be chosen:

Winning entries for the STC Staff Favorite will be chosen based on the following criteria:
Winning entries for STC Fan Favorite will be chosen based on votes cast on the official STC video contest page.
The STC Staff Favorite and the STC Fan Favorite will both receive a complimentary registration for the 2014 STC Summit.
