STC has been hard at work updating and adding new events to the 2015 Summit to increase not only your ROI but also the FUN! Take a look at the new and improved events happening at the 2015 Summit.
More Networking Opportunities
We’ve replaced the traditional banquet in favor of a livelier reception format, scheduled to start after the education sessions end on Tuesday. The Honors Reception is included with your registration and is completely free! It will feature hors d’oeuvres and appetizer stations and will celebrate this year’s honorees, including Fellows and Associate Fellows. Join your STC colleagues in networking with and congratulating these individuals.
Also new this year is the opportunity for Speed Networking, taking place in the Expo Hall. Looking to branch out and make new connections? This event will be the ultimate networking opportunity at the Summit and put you in contact with industry movers and shakers.
New Education Tracks
The education tracks have been reworked based on direct feedback from Summit attendees and the latest industry trends. These tracks are designed to allow you to efficiently plan your educational opportunities at the Summit. With over 80 sessions and seven specialized tracks, you’ll walk away with applicable knowledge for your particular job. Tracks include:
- Art, Design, and Visual Communication
- Leadership and Management
- Tools and Technology
- Training and Research
- Writing and Communication
- API Documentation
- Consulting and Small Business Management
Wrap up your time at the Summit not with the traditional lunch, but instead with closing keynote speaker Denise Jacobs as she speaks on Infinite Possibilities in the workplace. Sometimes making choices in our career paths is difficult. Wouldn’t it be helpful to have guidelines to help us make decisions that open up your options rather than shut them down? In Denise’s closing keynote, discover how choosing creativity, a growth mindset, finding your Flow, and being a Maker puts you on the path of having infinite possibilities in your career, creating a clear path to a future where you can not only be awesome, but also do meaningful work.
