The Summit committee identifies the keynote speaker and several industry leaders to flesh out the program with important topics. In addition, the track managers work with proposal reviewers to provide a wide perspective on topics of interest. Nicky Bleiel
Conference Co-Chair, IBM Watson
Nicky is a Watson Information Developer at IBM. She is an STC Past President and Associate Fellow with over 20 years of experience writing and designing information for software products in a variety of industries. Nicky has given over 100 conference presentations and webinars, including presentations at the STC Summit, WritersUA, tcworld, CPTSC, ProComm, CIDM, LavaCon, and numerous STC community conferences and meetings. She has been published in STC’s Intercom magazine (the issue she guest-edited — “Legends of Technical Communication” — was awarded “Intercom Outstanding Guest-Edited Issue of 2016”), tcworld magazine, ISTC Communicator, and more. Cindy Currie
Conference Co-Chair, Project Management, Leadership, and Career Development Track Manager, DXC Technology
Cindy is a senior program manager in the Cloud and Platform Solutions group, where she manages the release of several cloud-based systems for SAP users. Cindy has 35 years experience as a technical writer, course developer, instructional designer, business process and organizational designer, and project and program manager. She is also an STC Fellow, an STC Past President (2009-2010), and has been an active STC member and volunteer for nearly 30 years. She has been a frequent speaker at STC’s annual conference since 1991, and many local and regional STC conferences throughout the years, as well as at other professional association conferences.

Aiessa Moyna
Content Design and Delivery Track Manager, American Express
A veteran technical communicator, Aiessa Moyna has worked in a variety of corporate, nonprofit and government settings. She currently works as a communications director at American Express, providing communication consultation and support for the CIO and the Technology division. Previously, she was responsible for communication strategy and tactics for information security and infrastructure operations projects. Aiessa began her career as a technical writer and editor, and later managed employee communications for a scientific and technical company. She holds a B.S. in technical communication from New Mexico Tech and an M.A. in communication studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Alan Houser
Tools and Technologies Track Manager, Group Wellesley, Inc.
Alan Houser is a distinguished consultant and trainer in the fields of XML, XML technologies, publishing workflows, and authoring and publishing tools. Alan is a Fellow and former President of the Society for Technical Communication, a member of the OASIS DITA Technical Committee, an adjunct instructor at Carnegie Mellon University, and a popular presenter at technical communication conferences around the globe. Alan is an authorized trainer for the CPTC (Certified Professional Technical Communicator) Foundation certification.

Kevin Siegel
Training Development and Delivery Track Manager, IconLogic
Kevin Siegel is the founder and president of IconLogic, Inc. and the founder and CEO of International Council for Certified Online Training Professionals. He has written hundreds of step-by-step computer training books on applications such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Adobe RoboHelp, Adobe Presenter, Adobe Technical Communication Suite, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, QuarkXPress, and TechSmith Camtasia.
