Air Travel—Atlanta International Airport (Code: ATL)
The 2013 Technical Communication Summit is being held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. The Hyatt is approximately 12 miles from Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. All major airlines and many regional airlines have flights to Atlanta.
Transportation from Atlanta International Airport
The Atlanta Airport Shuttle Service (TAASS) is the recommended shuttle service between the hotel and the airport. Reservations are not required. The shuttle runs 6:00 AM to Midnight from the airport and it leaves the hotel at 10 and 40 minutes after the hour. The fees are $16.50 one way/$29 round-trip per person.
Taxi Service
To/From airport fee: $30.00, plus $2.00 per each additional person.
Downtown Zone includes: North Avenue/Ashby to North Avenue/Boulevard to Boulevard/Atlanta to Atlanta Avenue/I75-I85 to I75-I85/Georgia Avenue to Georgia Avenue/Glenn Street to Gleen Street/Ralph David Abernathy to Boulevard back to Ashby Street/North Ave.

Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA)
$2.50 per ride. Rail system runs approximately every 10 minutes. Hyatt Regency Atlanta is connected to Peachtree Center Train Station via Peachtree Center Mall and is 20 minutes from the Airport. Airport pickup is at baggage claim, TH Terminal. To get to the Hyatt, take MARTA to the Peachtree Center Station and exit Northeast towards Peachtree Center Mall. Parking
The Hyatt offers hotel parking (indoor valet) with in/out privileges. There is no self-service parking available. Charges are as follows:
0-1 hour $ 10.00
1-2 hours $14.00
2-4 hours $18.00
4-6 hours $24.00
6-24 hours $32.00
Should the underground lot become full, additional parking is located at 31 Baker Street, located half a block away from the hotel. The rate is $18 per night for this parking.
Vehicles with clearance over 7′, oversized vans, Winnebagos, and buses cannot be accommodated in hotel parking lot. Local open-air lots can be recommended. Contact the hotel Concierge at +1 (404) 460-6437.
International Travel

Even with the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), travelers must have received an authorization to travel under the VWP through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) and they present the appropriate type of passport valid for six months past their expected stay in the United States.
Summit attendees traveling from Europe might want to check this closer to the meeting date, such as the end of March or beginning of April, in there are any updates, or check with the U.S. Consulate in your country of origin.
