If you’ve already registered for the Summit but want to sign up, email stc@stc.org.

A few tickets are still available for theses events. Email stc@stc.org to reserve your ticket today. Once these tours have reached capacity, we will close registration. Second City Theater
Saturday, 19 May, 5:30–10:30PM

See the rising stars of comedy at the famous Second City Theatre! The Second City theatre opened its doors on a snowy Chicago night in December 1959. The Second City was experimental and unconventional in its approach to both theatre and comedy. With the debut of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, populated by Second City Alums John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and Gilda Radner, the theatre became internationally known for its ever increasing roster of comedy superstars. Today, The Second City continues to produce the premiere comic talent in the industry. From Mike Myers to Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert to Tina Fey—The Second City imprint is felt across every entertainment medium.

This event includes round trip coach transportation and ticket to the show. The bus will depart from the Hyatt Regency at 5:30 PM, getting you to the theatre at approximately 6:30 PM.  There are a number of restaurants close to the theatre and the STC Chicago Chapter will coordinate group reservations. You may also take advantage of the food service at the theatre. Here are the restaurants where the Chicago Chapter will have reservations:

Adobo Grill (Mexican)

Kamehachi (Japanese)

Topo Gigio (Italian)

You must contact the Chicago Chapter by 7 May to be included in the restaurant reservations. You must fill out this form to reserve space with STC Chicago for dinner.

The cost for dinner and refreshments is NOT INCLUDED in the ticket for this event.

Everyone will meet at the theatre at 7:40 PM to be seated. The show starts at 8:00 PM. The show will run two hours. You will need to return the bus immediately following the show, or find your own way back to the Hyatt!

Cost: $67.00 per ticket. This event requires a minimum of 25 participants.
